Accessing iCloud on Linux

I have recently been exploring getting access to my iCloud data from my Linux box. After a little searching I came across the “iCloud for Linux” program available as a Snap install in the Ubuntu Snap Package Manager.

The program gives access to all of the iCloud Apps:

  • Calendar
  • Contacts
  • Drive
  • Find My Friends
  • Find My iPhone
  • Keynote
  • Mail
  • Notes
  • Numbers
  • Pages
  • Photos
  • Reminders

To install the program use the command: sudo snap install icloud-for-linux

The program offers the programs in a window and is a web app type interface to the online version of the apps that can be found on iCloud.com

In this example the Reminders app is displayed.
